I vote we hold an "auld lang syne" (or however you spell that) for Annie on New Year's Eve... she's almost getting too big for even my computer to load! What do y'all say? We could have an official B-town wake/party. *g*

Sid <> Wed Dec 16 23:01:31 EST 1998

I'm thinking I won't be busy on New Year's eve, so it would be a good day for me... Perhaps I should ask the list as well? Some of us can't get to this board any longer. Just thought of that.

Cat <> Mon Dec 21 02:24:29 EST 1998

By all means, ask the list. I will be in Dallas, doing Christmas (albeit a bit late) with the 'rents, so I won't be able to attend... but I like this board, and not just for sentimental reasons. I like the way it's structured; it's so much easier to read than most of the other boards I've looked at. Alas, i fear its time has come!

Go pleasantly forth, old board-- your rest is well-deserved!

Sid <> Mon Dec 21 10:42:49 EST 1998

I can't even talk right!*g* As I was about to say, before I somehow screwed it up, I'll post to the list tonight. I meant to do it this weekend, but I forgot! (But, in the process of cleaning, I found four mugs, two vases, and one pair of shoes I didn't know I had)

Lyrin <> Mon Dec 21 17:24:45 EST 1998

hehehe..HAPPY CHRISTMAS MERRY NEW YEAR TO ALL Lalalalala hehe...

NRL <riposte@earthlink.net> Tue Dec 22 04:44:40 EST 1998

Moving day! What a great idea! I don't post as often as I used to because I'm too impatient to wait for the board to load. Auld Lang Syne sounds just fine. I'll be there, I hope. I have to work that night. Might be a little late. G'night all!

Sid <> Tue Dec 22 14:43:37 EST 1998

Didn't Faerie traditionally have moving day sometime around New Year's? *g*Just thought of that. How appropriate!

Lyrin <> Wed Dec 23 02:46:36 EST 1998

Hi, everyone. By all means, let us send forth this board with respect, sadness, and love. I won't be able to be here in person--but I'll be here in spirit. It takes too long for me to load Annie anymore. But I wanted to tell everyone who isn't on the mailing list that I've had my baby. Cullen Francis arrived Dec. 11 at 3:40. He's not typing yet, but he waves to all of you and says he's delighted to join in the fun--maybe at Sticks' board? Love to all, and goodbye Annie. You've been so dear to me.

Ethereally, Grey

Sid <> Fri Jan 1 01:11:19 EST 1999

Got it.

Well, so long, Annie Board. This will be my last post here for a while, though I'll stop in from time to time to see if you've been archived...

Wishing everyone a wonderful 1999, and may most of your wishes come true this year.(Not all, cause then what would you have left to wish for next year?)

I'll miss this board! *sniffle*

NRL <riposte@earthlink.net> Fri Jan 1 05:47:38 EST 1999

Should old aquaintance be forgot? No! Happy New Year to all. May it be better than the last. And to Annie, good bye, my dear. I'll miss you too. This was a great place and I met a lot of wonderful people here. But with Annie as big as she is, it's unblikely we'll meet many more here, so off to the Dancing Ferret. G'night all. See y'all there. ... Will the last to go please turn off the lights?

Um, hi. I'm writing a B-Town comic & I've got quite a lot of characters but no plot. If any of you have any ideas please, please tell me. Thanx.

Valentine <nukunuku82@hotmail.com> Wed Mar 31 15:39:25 EST 1999

I saw Stickman's page & it looks like he's doing a comic too. I promise mine is way different.

Hello peoples of importance or unimportance, After a year and a half absense i have returned to this bulletin board. . .=). . .Merry meet everyone so did I miss anything?

Claris <ccsmith@comp.uark.edu> Sun Apr 11 13:40:11 EDT 1999

Hi Hanna, we've relocated to www.dancingferret.com
Mostly using The Board Pt. 2. Join us there.

Hello <walakor@hotmail.com> Wed Apr 14 21:01:57 EDT 1999

This is my first post. I'll get to the point. A girl named Ifurita may have been on the BTown mailing list. She died on May 4th, 1998 of Advanced Lymphatic Leukemia. Does anyone remember her? If so, e-mail me.

Linda Bee <lbdesign@execpc.com> Wed May 19 00:26:24 EDT 1999

Recently stumbled on Borderlands thru reading Emma Bull--liked her gritty near-future stuff in Bone Dance. But my library doesn't carry these others--guess I'll have to break down and spend. When I was a kid, there was a small ring of trees enclosing soft, long grass in the woods behind my house. I believed it touched the borders of Faerie. With no children to nourish it, it's fading.

Cheese? <Strider891@aol.com> Sun May 30 21:39:49 EDT 1999

I am in love with the borderlands series and want to complete my collection. I am having trouble though. I can't find Borderland, Double feature, or Life on the Border. If anyone knows where I can find them on AOL or mail order etc, than can you please e-mail me

The Arystocrat <tcoleman@caruspub.com> Thu Jun 10 12:14:15 EDT 1999

Hey! Is this page still active. I'm fast becoming a huge Borderland fan, despite the advanced age of 26. I, too, am trying to complete my collection. I'm only missing Life On the Border. Any suggestions out there???

Honoria <getahelmet@chickmail.com> Mon Jun 14 14:54:46 EDT 1999

So glad I found this site. Is it still active? I edited Finder when I worked for Tor Books. Have all the books except Double Feature--is it currently in print? tarantara, Honoria

grey <grey@dancingferret.com> Thu Jun 24 13:00:35 EDT 1999

Hello to all new posters. Because this board (we call her Annie) has been neglected and never archived, her ponderousness has made downloading her an impossibility for some of us. Hence, we've moved to www.dancingferret.com. Join us there, particularly on "board, pt. 2."
